You have no idea how excited I was about watching The Asia Song Festival in Seoul! I kept jumping up and down with glee! That was an awesome episode ...and it doesn't hurt that i'm a super diehard fan of TVXQ and SHINee! _____ Thanks for putting them on US tv.....it was such an awesome experience! =]
Kohaku Uta Gassan would be the awesomest of awesomes. The Japanese music scene doesn't get that much attention outside of Asia - I'm surprised at how few people have heard of Johnny's Entertainment, considering how ridiculously prolific it is in Japanese mainstream culture. From what I hear, at least 3 Johnny's bands have been invited to Kohaku, and especially considering the rumored ban of TVXQ from Music Station (as per their relationship with Johnny's), it's be interesting to see what goes down when the two (TVXQ and Johnny's) have to join forces for the Red-White battle.
But aside from all that, it should be a great show nonetheless! The boys are pretty good, but the girls are pretty damn fierce! I can't wait for the throwdown.
Kouhaku Uta Gassen
Although I'm Canadian and don't have the pleasure of having Fuse TV... At least where I am at the moment... It was amazing to see Nate in Seoul at the Asian Music Festival. A North American getting to show our part of the world how amazing Kpop truely is... AHHH... Yes go to Kouhaku Uta Gassen and see the other side of TVXQ or THSK <3 They are a must see band... Or in Nate's case a must see band more than once.. WE LOVE TVXQ and other Kpop too... I'm a diehard fan of TVXQ and a fan of SHINee as well.
PS. Thank you Nate for making me miss Seoul all that much more. I visited there last summer and was able to attend SM LIVE (a concert where TVXQ, SHINee, Girls Generation, Super Junior and other singers where present at)... As well Namdaemun market is thee place to buy socks! And the food is amazing.
